Prismax lights up the screens in Alpe d’Huez, France

Background: Tomorrowland Winter is a unique and highly anticipated winter edition of the iconic Tomorrowland music festival. Held in the French Alps, specifically in the ski resort of Alpe d’Huez, it combines the high-energy electronic dance music (EDM) experience of the summer festival with a breathtaking winter wonderland setting. The festival features world-renowned DJs, stunning stage designs all set against a backdrop of snow-covered mountains. Attendees can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports during the day, and dance the night away to top-tier EDM performances, creating a magical and unforgettable experience.
Prismax was hired by Tomorrowland to create the videocontent and operate on 4 stages this year: Core, Cave, Crystal Garden and the infamous Mainstage, where DJ’s like Steve Aoki, Armin Van Buuren, Alesso and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed.
The mainstage featured 6 different worlds, seamlessly brought to life with Prismax’s realtime xLive system. The Prismax xLive system is a sophisticated technological solution designed to enhance live event experiences. This system integrates real-time visual rendering with other event elements such as music, lighting, and pyrotechnics. Using advanced software like Unreal Engine, xLive ensures that visuals are rendered and synchronized across multiple computers, creating a seamless and immersive experience. This system is known for its ability to transform event environments with dynamic, interactive visuals, ensuring that each element of the event is perfectly in sync to deliver a memorable and engaging atmosphere for attendees.
