Tomorrowland 2025

A Phoenix Rises: Mainstage Reborn

Client: Tomorrowland

Just 36 hours after the devastating fire that engulfed Tomorrowland’s iconic “Orbyz” mainstage on July 16 — two days before the festival’s official start — the site was transformed into a scene of awe and resilience. In an extraordinary feat of collaboration, Stageco, Pixelscreen, and Prismax helped create a fully functional replacement stage, swiftly rising in front of the smoldering ruins. It opened by that day with renewed energy and a poignant message: “Unite”

Prismax also played a key role in the Great Library stage, which underwent a spectacular redesign in 2025. The new setup features a palatial structure fitted with three massive LED screens stretching across its width—creating a stunning backdrop for house, big room, and hardstyle acts like MK, Nora En Pure, Jax Jones, and Brennan Heart.

On the new Library Stage, Prismax harnessed the power of xLive to deliver ultra-realistic, fully immersive, real-time visual content. The result was a breathtaking contrast between resilience and renewal, turning the stage into a living canvas that continually evolved with the music. Throughout the day and night, the visuals seamlessly transported festivalgoers to nine entirely different worlds, each crafted with its own atmosphere and storytelling. What made it truly groundbreaking was the real-time interactivity—giving operators the ability to shape, adapt, and enhance each scene live, in perfect sync with the artists and the crowd’s energy.

Prismax’s creativity at Tomorrowland 2025 wasn’t just about visuals—it told a story of resilience. From the ashes of the burned mainstage to sweeping LED panoramas and kinetic marvels, their work became the pulse of the festival in the most dramatic edition yet.

Inside the Freedom Stage, Prismax helped elevate the immersive experience even further. The arena introduced a mesmerizing “Floating Sky” kinetic installation—a movable roof made of 210 video panels and 400 m² of LED screens that enveloped audiences from every angle. A sweeping 7-meter moving structure overhead added dynamic motion, while the visual storytelling pacing enthralled with every beat drop.

Beyond the main festival icons, Prismax was entrusted with VJing and content creation for a total of nine stages across Tomorrowland 2025. This meant not only providing bespoke visuals tailored to each stage’s narrative but also ensuring seamless real-time control across vastly different setups.

From intimate forest-inspired settings to high-energy arenas and open-air spectacles, Prismax’s creative team unified the Tomorrowland universe under a single visual heartbeat. This unprecedented scale of involvement underlines Prismax’s reputation as the go-to creative studio for real-time immersive storytelling on the world’s biggest stages.
